The check-in time is 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
If there are no same day check-ins or check-outs, we may be able to offer late check out or early check-in. Please reach out if you are interested to see if we can accommodate.
The minimum stay is 2 nights and the maximum stay is 28 nights.
We accepts dogs only on a case by case basis with prior approval and only 1 dog max. No cats allowed. If traveling with one dog, please indicate when you book. There’s a $75 pet fee per stay.
Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds, on the zen garden under the stairs or in the tatami loft room. We strongly encourage you to treat your pet with flea/tick preventative before arrival since we are in the woods and they can be in the area. Please keep a watch on your dog while outside since our yard is not fenced in and please cleanup after them. There will be additional charges for any damage or excess mess from pets during your stay.
The cabin is not only a vacation rental, but also our second home. We simply ask that you treat our home and neighbors as you would your own.
- No unregistered guests. 5 max guests allowed.
- No Parties. Immediate removal without a refund.
- No smoking inside the cabin. $300 charge if evidence of smoking is found.
- No swimming allowed in the pond behind the deck.
- The closet under the stairs is off limits.
- ADA defined service animals are only allowed on the property. No other pets allowed. $200 charge if evidence of pets are on the property (unless approved service animal.)
- You are responsible for supervising any children on the property, particularly in the areas of the loft, deck, fire pit and pond.
- Please be good neighbors and do not disturb or trespass on neighboring properties. Quiet Hours from 10 PM to 8 AM.
- Do not use gas, lighter fluid, or any other flammable liquid to start fires in the fireplace. Use only Duraflame or similar starter logs with a lighter. Make sure the flue is open during use.
- Use of the fire pit and wood burning stove are at your own risk. Please make sure all fires are completely extinguished after use.
- No commercial photo shoots without written consent and permission from us.
- Do not block, disconnect, or take down the Outdoor security cameras on the property located at the front door, back door and facing the driveway.
- Parking is on driveway only, not on the street or grass.
- The Shed on the property is off limits to guests.
- Please do not leave any garbage and food outside as there are wild animals in the vicinity.
- Please do not walk on the tatami floors in the loft with shoes since this is also a sleeping space.
- No illegal or hazardous materials on the property at anytime.
Currently we do not have AC as the nights can still be quite cool in the mountains during the summer. However we do have floor fans and a ceiling fan throughout.
We have central heating and a wood burning stove to stay warm in colder months.
Yes we have very fast and reliable wifi service at the cabin. Cell service however can be a bit spotty while driving around the area.
We provide towels, washcloths, makeup clothes, hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
We do not provide toiletries or toothpaste.
Yes we provide starter kindling along with firewood for a few fires to get you started. If you need anything beyond that there are several shops and gas stations nearby to grab it.
Unfortunately we are not accessible via public transport, you must have a car to be able to get to our location.
There is plenty of shopping, grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. We have many recommendations in our digital guidebook which we will send to you within a few days of your arrival.
Being in the Catskills, the area is filled with a variety of wildlife. You may encounter deer, foxes, chipmunks, groundhogs, squirrels, field mice, owls, birds, bees, mosquitos, ants, flies, and an occasional black bear or bobcat.
Please follow Bearwise safety tips in the rare case you may encounter one.
Although we keep the lawn maintained, please keep an eye out for ticks which are prevalent in this woodsy area.
Please note: Due to the nature of being in the woods, we do not offer any refunds for encounters with wildlife at the cabin during your stay.
We require a 30 day notice for cancellations. If you cancel within 30 days of your reservation, you will receive a full refund minus credit card processing fees.
Cancelling between 15-29 days of your reservation, you will receive a 50% refund minus credit card processing fees.
Cancelling within 14 days of your reservation will result in no refund.
You must pay in full at the time of booking.
